Question:

Am I Eligible for Youthful Offender Status?

Answer:

I was recently asked as an experienced Buffalo Criminal Defense Attorney if a client was eligible for youthful offender status for a crime.  If the offender is 19 years or younger and charged with a criminal charge in New York, you may be eligible for youthful offender status.  I advise clients as a Buffalo Criminal Defense Attorney that if the court finds you eligible, your criminal conviction will be annulled and you will no longer have a record.  However, you could still see fines and some penalties after being found guilty.

If you are 19 and younger and have been arrested and have questions about youthful offender status eligibility, contact our experience Buffalo Criminal Defense Attorneys to help pursue a youthful offender status.
