Buffalo DWI Attorney Discusses Driving While Impaired

Have you been charged with Driving While Impaired and need experienced representation? Contact Buffalo DWI Attorney Arthur Pressman.

As an experienced Buffalo DWI Attorney I often defend clients who have been charged with Driving While Impaired.  If you’re convicted of driving while impaired in New York State, this is a noncriminal traffic infraction. This will not give you a criminal record. However, your license will be suspended for 90 days, and the court will impose a minimum mandatory fine of $300 and $265 in state surcharges. You will also be required to go to a victim impact panel. This is a one-time class where you will meet people who are victims of DWIs or DWI accidents. In order to get a restricted or conditional license, you will be required to attend the DDP program the DMV offers.
